Social enterprise “Sewing Workshop Patalenca”

Since 2020, Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation Winds of Change" is implementing the project "Program of professional training, obtaining a profession and employment and development of social entrepreneurship in the interests of women of the Roma minority." As part of this project, we created a social enterprise "Sewing Workshop Patalenca" in Odesa, where women can acquire the necessary sewing skills and later find a job

This project gave women the opportunity to demonstrate to themselves and to everyone the potential for change for women of the Roma minority, who are in difficult social conditions, and to challenge established prejudices about their lives

We took into account the needs of women from vulnerable groups, so training has flexible schedule, comfortable for them. We also organized a Children's room with the services of a teacher and lunch so that women could bring their children with them and not worry about their safety. In addition, we provide transportation services to ensure that women have the opportunity to get to the workplace
